meet Tibor Fischer
Meet Tibor Fischer, author of the contemporary classic Under the Frog (1992) and other acclaimed novels.
We will discuss his first novel with the author, while our colleague Ăkos Farkas, translator of How to Rule the World (2018) will talk about the joys and difficulties of translating the novel, and Tibor Fischerâs creative writing course will also be introduced.
Time: 11 May, Wednesday at 2 PM
Venue: The grand auditorium (Eötvös terem) of building D.
The event is a part of the Contemporary Literature in English BA lecture series.
