Ethnic and Migration Studies Research Group Film Club: Race (2016), R356
We cordially invite you to the eighth film club event of the Ethnic and Migration Studies Research Group at the Department of American Studies. The date of the program is March 13 (Wednesday), 17:15–20:00. This special film club event features the movie Race (2016). The biographical sports drama depicts the life and career of Jesse Owens, with a special focus on the 1936 Olympic Games, held in Berlin, where Owens won four gold medals. Before the screening, Dr. Dániel Cseh will give a brief presentation on Jesse Owens, which will be followed by the screening of the film and an open discussion afterwards.
